Marcus James McCullough's Biography

Marcus James McCullough is an artist in Chicago, IL. He was born in Honolulu, HI and was raised in Nashville, TN. After High School, He signed up for the US Army and was shipped to Fort Sill for basic training then Fort Sam Houston for his combat medic training. He received orders to report to 10th Mountain Division 1/32 Infantry Regiment Fort Drum, NY as a combat medic. He did two tours oversea in the Army, which include Kosovo and Iraq. After Iraq he had to find a way to punch depression in the balls. He is very proud of his time in the Army. After the Army, He achieved a B.S. in Finance and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Marcus has lived in Honolulu HI, Nashville TN, Fort Sill OK, Fort Sam Houston TX, Fort Drum NY, Kosovo, Iraq, Newark DE, Philadelphia PA, and now Chicago IL. He attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) where he learned how to paint with oils, the thicker the paint the better, paint big, don't hide brush strokes, and to see details in the world that most people miss. Marcus lives in Chicago with his beautiful wife and daughter enjoying life and painting the night away.
